Blade'sEdge Prologus [FINAL]
“Helena.. please... no!” cried Cyrill as he took his wife's hand. She lay on the ground simply looking at the gaping hole in the ceiling. The moonlight's soft radiance shone down, blanketing the chambers in a hue of greyish blue. Cyrill failed to keep his composure, looking like a bawling child as tears ran down his face.
“It's ok...” whispered Helena. She lovingly caressed Cyrill's face and smiled despite her injuries.
“No... how can you say that, Helena?” Cyrill said.
“I-I Can't lose you!” he let out. Tears began to run out of Helena's eyes.
“I-I need the paramedics! Where are the healer

Their duel continued. The sounds of their blades locking carried more weight than the rumbles of the earth from the fighting outside of the chambers. Neither side seemed to be weary as they fought without hesitation.
“Just as I suspected. You're quite skilled..” said the man. His hood had fallen off during the duel. He had deep tear troughs and shoulder length hair that seemed to part in opposite directions. The two of them then found themselves with their blades locked once more. Using the shape of his weapon to his advantage, he placed the blade of his scythe behind Helena. He then looked to the barrier protecting Helena's child

“So, he wasn't kidding when he said a stampede...” said Cyrill, looking on at the raging beasts in front of him and the soldiers coming towards them from the plains. They took up slightly humanish forms of the animals that they used to be.
“Don't you find the timing weird though?” mulled Murasaki, bringing out his weapon and setting a battle stance.
“Yes, but we have a city to protect. We can think about things later,” answered Cyrill.
The stampede of monsters grew closer.
“Now, attack!” commanded Cyrill. At his command, the entire platoon charged at the stampede. Columns of earth rose up, tri

“So, I see you children once again...” stated Leander sizing up the new members. They were meeting inside of the Azel Force building on top of a mountain far north of Arcadia. He paced in front of them.
“I warn you all, if you're not ready for the trails ahead... I suggest that you leave for now...” he said as he stopped pacing to face the new members.
“I take complete responsibility for your well being, and so I do not want you to be permanently harmed.” he continued, looking over the new recruits.
“Now Leander, I know that you care about these children, but they have made the decision themselves to

“So, you all are the new recruits? I didn't think that most of you would look like complete amateurs” stated a lean man with long straight hair that was neatly tied up into a ponytail. There in the town square stood a row of young boys and girls. Each of them were standing with their arms to their sides. They were all looking up in front of them, making sure not to move an inch. The group of new recruits had seemed to perfect their formation, though there was one flaw...
“Mr Altair Ballard I presume?” asked the lean man looking down at Altair in front of him. Altair just stood there, his head was down and he seemed to
When the cosmos was in it's infancy, there drifted a god and a goddess. Each of them were in a deep slumber. The first to wake up was the goddess, Prosperi. Prosperi had nothing in her possession save for a gray pearl with a strange symbol on it. She dared not break the pearl, for she could feel the danger that doing so would do throughout every fiber of her being. She gave the void of the cosmos light and with the light awoke Malus. Malus, uninterested with this light, reinforced the darkness of the cosmos. The two of them immediately recognized each other as apparent enemies. Rather than initiate fighting, Prosperi suggested a truce. One th

His skin was dark and his crimson eyes emitted a faint glow. He hugged his mother's leg grasping it tightly, knowing that it would probably be his turn the following year. His mother, Helena, looked down to him. Her hair was down to her legs and was a glossy red as well.
"This is the ritual of adulthood. Altair is being branded with the family mark to symbolize his admittance as a new member of the Azel Force, If you prove to be worthy of adulthood, you'll be up there as well," said Helena smil

"Ow!" cried a young boy as he crashed to the ground cradling his cheek. His hair held a scarlet red and his clothes were matted with soil, no doubt from playing all day. Weeping he looked up at his assailant through tear brimming emerald hued eyes.
"W-why did you h-hit me?" he choked out. A child stood over him silhouetted against the falling Radiata and crossed their arms.
"Because you weren't paying attention! Now get up crybaby" and equally young voice commanded.
"Sorry Shyro..." the crying boy said wiping his tears on his long sleeves and got up to his feet. Shyro sighed and walked a couple feet away then slipped his right foot back st
